More awards!

Here’s the notification letter letting filmmaker Deborah Hoard know that A Conversation 10 Years Later (starring John Raible & Michelle Johnson) won another award:

Congratulations, the results are in! The juries for the 43rd INTERCOM Competition have announced the award winners for this year’s competition. It gives me great pleasure to inform you our jury has awarded a Silver Plaque to your submission Struggle for Identity: A Conversation Ten Years Later, in the category of Human Relations -Social Interest Issues. These works have been singled-out in a competition filled with hundreds of entrants from around the world. We are honored to include them on the list of award winners. This list will be distributed to all entrants in this year’s competition and it will appear in select publications.

And we won Honorable Mention at the 2007 Chris Awards to be given in November 2007 at the Columbus International Film & Video Festival. Not too shabby for a 20-minute flick that packs a powerful punch…
