It’s official, “Struggle” won a Telly Award!
I have received a bunch of requests from different people who want permission to reprint the Checklist for Allies Against Racism. I’m pleased that people find it useful. It’s a little weird, since it is so old. I guess it just goes to show that we haven’t come very far in our quest for social justice and interracial understanding.
In other news, the new DVD won has been nominated for its first award! A Silver Telly Award is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions. The awardees will be announced later this month…
So congrats to Deborah Hoard and Che Broadnax and the rest of our collaborators at PhotoSynthesis Productions out of Ithaca, New York! And to my friend and colleague Judith Ashton for making the video happen!
